Madison + Kyle | Lake Raystown Resort

While they can't remember too many details about the first time they saw each other, Kyle and Madison have spent years creating a love story filled with playful moments and fun memories. Mutual friends in marching band introduced Madison and Kyle. What started as spending time together with a group of friends, turned into a first date, multiple proms, and many high adventures. As they began separate journeys following graduation, Madison at Penn State to earn her Bachelors degree, and Kyle at Center for Emergency Medicine, studying EMS and Paramedic, they continued their journey together. Between class and her extracurriculars, Madison prioritized date nights and time spent with with Kyle. B

Zach + Alex Highlight | Boal Mansion and Nittany Lion Inn Wedding

Zach and Alex met the beginning of their senior year at Penn State. Alex had just moved into a new apartment, and her new neighbors invited her and her roommates over for drinks. Zach was one of the friends they also had over. The two of them ended up hanging out the whole night, and never stopped hanging out after that. Last fall, Alex and Zach came to Penn State for a football weekend. They got there early on Friday so that they could meet up with friends. Before heading to dinner, they walked through campus. While walking by a quiet Old Main, Zach turned towards Alex, got down on one knee, and popped the question. Their night continued, having dinner, calling their families, and relaxing

Playdate with a Camera

Back in September, we were contacted by one of our favorite high school teachers, asking to schedule a mother/son session! Catherine and I were PUMPED! The last time either of us got to see Magistra Schreiber, ("Schreibs" for short) was 5-6 years ago, and we never got to meet her son, who she had back when she was teaching us! We were super eager to catch up with her and finally meet her son, Aaron! However, between wedding season, braces, winter and Oregon, our session was pushed back until this past Monday. Luckily for us, the rain held off and the tulips were in full bloom at Penn State's Arboretum. This setting and the nice weather matched their spring outfits perfectly! Their boat shoes

To Evan on Your Graduation

Dear Evan, I cannot believe it's been 5 years already!! Graduation day is here, and it's because of God's grace, your hard work, sleepless nights and amazing determination, that you are walking the stage tonight. I do not know the words to say to express how proud of you I am, but you did it, sir. Holy smokes, you did it! You made it through freshman year, through your first knee surgery. It wasn't the beginning of the football or college career you had imagined, but you spent your mornings with the doctors and doing the lifts you could, You went to class, practice and study hall (usual staying there after the academic center closed). Freshman year brought a few of many obstacles you would h

Kayla, Amanda, Lisa, Lo and Melissa

I met Kayla during my junior year at Penn State. We met through our boyfriends, Evan and Chance, who were roommates at the time. I remember thinking how super friendly and sweet she was. Honestly, such a gem! After she texted me about taking senior pictures of her and 4 of her friends, I got super excited! "I bet they're a crazy, fun group" I remember thinking. Unsurprisingly, these girls totally were! Maybe it was just the fact that they got to all be together and enjoy this celebratory time, or the fact that the rain stopped RIGHT before we started our session, but Kayla, Amanda, Lo, Melissa and Lisa, got there with big smiles on their faces, excited and ready to roll! It was so wonderful

Charlie's Senior Session

Congratulations Charles!! Where do I even start?! I don’t remember how we first met, but as Evan put it, we went from zero to one hundred real quick. One day, we were hanging out with a group of people around the fire pit, and the next day I was greeting you on Pollock Road with a “credit card”. Since your freshman year, I have gotten the privilege to watch you grow, serve your local and the Penn State community, find your way around Tussey Mountain, and learn how to pronounce “fire”. Not only that, but I have been lucky enough to get to know the Charlie that everyone loves so much, the friendly six-eighter that welcomes everyone with open arms and a warm smile. If you’ve ever met Charlie’s
