Taylor + Chris Wedding | Normandy Farm Hotel

Chris and Taylor's wedding took place at the beautiful Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center, in Blue Bell, PA and at St. John the Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA. This Eastern PA wedding featured colors of navy, dusty blue, and white. Chris and Taylor's wedding was the perfect balance of elegance and fun.

To know Taylor and Chris is to love and be loved by them. They are the type of people who would go out of their way to assist a stranger. They are the type of people to make sure that everyone feels good, and is having a fun time (even on a day that is all about them). They love people so well, and never miss an opportunity to let you know how much you mean to them.

Thinking back to Chris and Taylor's wedding day, I think about how well these two remained present during their day. Even smoothly run wedding days can be stressful at times, but these two never let those small bumps get in the way of their joy and the focus of their wedding. No matter the busy morning, the threat of rain, or the final details, Taylor and Chris were focused on two things, marrying their best friend and having a great time doing so.

If anything threatened to go wrong Taylor would simply say "well, that's not on the agenda for today!" and sure enough, the threat disappeared.

We loved Chris and Taylor's invitations! Their proposal took place at their Army vs. Navy game tailgate back in 2019, so it was only fitting that their invites fit the theme! Check out their proposal blog here! It was so special getting to capture their love story through the years! We are so blessed to work with friends like Taylor and Chris.

We met Chris and Taylor during our years at Penn State. It was while Chris was on Catherine's THON committee that he met Taylor. Shoutout to Taylor's roomie (and past SMF Bride) Logan for setting them up!

We loved this shot of Chris' niece, Riley in Taylor's wedding day heels! So glad Taylor requested it!

Taylor's prep featured many special pieces. Some of these included photo pendants of her father and grandfather wrapped around her bouquet, a necklace featuring her father's cursive that read "love, Dad", and a special emerald pin for under her dress. While Taylor and the girls got dressed at a suite in Normandy's central campus area, Chris and his guys got ready at the nearby East Gatehouse building.

LOVE this picture of Chris. When I saw the photos and videos that Catherine and Evan had gotten of Chris, I was so happy to see his contagious laugh and award-winning smile in so much of the footage. Knowing Chris from college, his sincere smile is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of him.

While we are talking about Chris, we want to make sure we thank him and so many of his family and friends in attendance at this wedding for their services in the U.S. Military. Thank you, to you and your families for the sacrifices you all make every day.

Finally heading to the church was such an exciting moment to capture.

Taylor and Chris got married at St. John the Baptist Church, where they had a traditional Catholic mass. St. John the Baptist is not only a stunning church for a wedding, but it is also the church at which Taylor made her first Holy Communion!

Taylor's younger brother Jake walked her down the aisle. Jake would have made their father proud. He made sure Taylor knew how wonderful she looked while bringing out her stunning smile and laughter. Also, just look how excited Chris is!!

Introducing, Mr. and Mrs. Chris and Taylor Bagnick!!

We love us a good saber arch exit!

Taylor and Chris aside from having the kindest hearts, are also some of the strongest and most driven people we know. The wait for this wedding was not easy and took a lot of patience. After planning around covid, loss, deployments, and trainings, this perfect day in March proved to be worth the wait. On March 19th 2022, on their 7 year dating anniversary, Taylor and Chris made it official. The celebration was lively, joyful, and beautiful in every way.

Thank you to Taylor and Chris' parents for raising two great kids. Taylor and Chris both have so much appreciation and love for their families, and we can see why. Lori, Joe, Renee, and Jimmy, you should be so proud.

We loved seeing Lori, Joe, and Renee smiling with their families throughout the day, And while he couldn't be with us in person, Taylor's dad, Jimmy was definitely watching over his daughter and son-in-law with joy, blessing them with the perfect sunny and 70+ degree weather in March.

We cannot say enough great things about these two families. Thank you for welcoming us into the family on this beautiful day!

Taylor shared that she knew she wanted to be a part of this family since attending Chris' brother's, Pat's wedding, five short months after dating Chris. Seven years later, she's officially a Bagnick! Shoutout to Pat and Allie's kids, PJ and Riley, for being the best ring security and flower girl out there!

After family portraits, we headed back to Normandy Farm for photos, cocktail hour, and the reception!

These florals!!

Taylor and Chris surrounded themselves with some of the most supportive friends and family. Their wedding party was beyond helpful throughout the day. They were so focused on giving Taylor and Chris all the love, hype, and support they had, and we were ALL about it!

On the day Taylor and Chris got engaged, Taylor's father gifted them this bottle of champagne. Their wedding was originally planned for March of 2021, but was postponed due to covid. Sadly, Taylor's dad passed away April of 2021, one month after their scheduled wedding.

Taylor and Chris saved the gifted champagne for an intimate moment with Taylor's siblings to celebrate, thank, and remember the love, and life of her father, Jimmy Lennox.

What a beautiful little celebration this was in the middle of such a special day.

SHE FREAKING SHINES! A true ray of light, Taylor is!

After an outdoor cocktail hour, guests moved inside to the Normandy Farm Grand Ballroom. This hall was an elegant restored barn decorated in soft white linens and lantern centerpieces. Strings of lights draped from the ceiling and exposed wooden beams.

We loved Chris and Taylor's table numbers! Every guest was surprised with pictures from Chris and Taylor's childhood. Each table number corresponded to a photo

We got to sneak a quick picture of these two in the ballroom before opening it up to the guests! SO glad we did!

I don't know how, but Tylor and Chris managed to make a first dance fall look graceful and beautiful.

After Chris and his mother"s dance, Taylor gave a beautiful speech in which she thanked their parents for all they have done. She ended her speech by requesting her mother, Renee, dance with Chris, and Chris' father, Joe, to dance with her to merge their families becoming one.

After a few amazing toasts, the Slippery Band opened the dance floor!

I could see why Taylor and Chris were so ready for the open dance floor! IT WAS EVERYTHING!

There are so many more things I could say about the beauty and joy of this wedding day, but I will let the photos and the video below speak for that. Taylor and Chris have a beautiful story and a strong relationship. They have the most amazing support system, and nothing will stop them from accomplishing their goals, especially when they pursue them together. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to capture their story, and celebrate with their wonderful families on this special day.
