Brandon + Jordan's Wedding Photos and Video | The Historic Barn at Cooke Tavern

Jordan and Brandon’s September wedding turned out to be a perfect Friday in State College, PA. The sun illuminated central Pennsylvania’s early fall colors in the fields at the Historic Barn at Cooke Tavern. beautifully for this amazing couple!

Weddings like Jordan and Brandon’s are the weddings that we leave feeling like we were just attending as one of their guests. These two and their families make our days and sessions so enjoyable and relaxed. It also doesn’t hurt that we grew up with Jordan and Brandon, and that I absolutely LOVE them. Anytime I get to see them we just pick up from where we left off. I never realize how much I missed them until I get to hang out with them!

These two made the decision to split up their wedding day. The first half, the ceremony, took place this September, and their reception will happen September 2021. We are lucky enough to cover photo and video for both celebratory wedding days! While I could do my best to share their story, I think I will leave it to them! Check out Jordan and Brandon's wedding day film below!

Jordan and Brandon's ceremony took place at the Cooke Tavern's Dock. It was the perfect spot for them and a small number of close friends and relatives.

We couldn't get enough of this view on their wedding day! While everyone put the final touches on the ceremony site, Jordan and Brandon got ready in the barn.

Jordan’s Mom, Julia helped Jordan into her dress. They completed Jordan’s wedding day look with a beautiful veil that was made with parts of Julia’s wedding dress!

GOODNESS! SHE'S A VISION! If you have ever met Jordan, you know her beauty absolutely shines from the inside out. Her smile and laugh is contagious!

This shoe pin has been passed down Jordan’s family for generations! All the brides in her family have worn it on their wedding day.

This beautiful wedding day design and planning was done with the help of Gela Taylor and her team at Taylor'Design and Events.

While Jordan got ready upstairs with her Mom and sister, Brandon got ready on the first floor of the barn with his dad, mom, and brother.

Jordan is incredibly organized and detail-oriented. This small detail was a favorite of ours! Brandon’s tie included a small message from Jordan on the back. It said,

"Brandon,

I choose you and I'll choose you over and over every day.

Without pause, without doubt, in a heartbeat.

I love you today, forever and always.

Love, Jordan

9.11.2020"

All set for their first look!

After a quick session with the soon-to-be husband and wife, everyone hustled down to the dock for their ceremony!

Brandon's adorable niece and flower girl made her way down the aisle, and left the flowers for her dad (Brandon's brother Chris) to toss.

Here comes the bride!

Jordan's sister Callan spent the morning with Jordan, as her maid of honor. Her duties didn't stop there though, she also ran the music for the ceremony. The Glover girls can do it all, folks!

With everyone gathered around the dock, Jordan and Brandon became husband and wife! Their good family friend, Jimbo officiated their ceremony.

After over 10 years of being together they are FINALLY husband and wife!! Also, I love that they clapped for themselves :)

The face of someone who just CRUSHED her ceremony music responsibilities.

LOVE THESE FAMILIES!

After family formals and before everyone left for dinner at Toftrees. we got to spend some time with Jordan and Brandon exploring the area for their NEWLYWED portraits!

This boardwalk with is mountainous background was everything!

Brandon! What a handsome Gus, you are!

I remember when Jordan and Brandon began dating in high school. Jordan and I came from a private middle school with about 24 graduates, and I remember thinking how cool Jordan was, and how impressive it was that she got acclimated to the new public school so fast! She had SO many new friends AND a boyfriend! Ninth grade Samantha was like... "remember me when you're famous!" (Still the case).

By our junior year, I got to meet Brandon! (Shoutout to Furm's 11th grade history class!) Us and 2 of our best friends became a small, yet rowdy, history crew. Basically, me and my friend Maddie were crazy, and Brandon and his friend John made fun of us (lovingly of course...maybe...sometimes). Anyway, it was here where I met Brandon, his adventurous spirit, and his kind heart. Jordan found a great guy!

Jordan and Brandon, it's so crazy and so exciting that after TEN years you finally celebrated your wedding! The whole SMF team feels so thankful that we got to be there. For real, I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU, I NEARLY CRIED! Brandon and Jordan, we love you two so much, and are so excited for your life together. You two just make sense! After all these years, I hope you feel a sense of completeness, but also the start of a new adventure.

You all deserve the best, and I am so happy you found it in each other.. I can't wait for your reception next year! Hard workers like yourselves deserve to feel the love from everyone around you...at least twice!! So excited to celebrate you again next year! We totally freaking love you guys!!

Thank you to all of the vendors that we got to work alongside. We are so thankful to have worked amongst such a talented team!
